Last Tuesday I went to the Doctors surgery because I'm still not coping with the pain as well as a couple other things. After we left the doctors surgery, my mum had to park round the corner so, she had to go and get the car (there was no way I was going to be able to hop to the car using TWO gutter crutches - I had to ask physio for another gutter crutches because my hand was getting bruised very quickly and my wrist was hurting an awful lot and I thought it was going to pop out).
Across the road there was a big movers truck and another one had just pulled up, they were trying to work out which truck should go where and the ONE space that is outside the doctors surgery was free... mummy thought that she'd stop there so I could hop in but the space was big enough for a truck. They worked out the truck across the road would move outside the doctors surgery and the other truck would park in its place. As they were deciding this an elderly couple pulled up to the doctors surgery, they were about to park as an arse of a human being told them they had to move.
I asked the man nicely if he could wait a couple minutes for my mum to pick me up... they saw me struggle down the slope and flounder around whilst I was standing and waiting. He told me that I should walk to the car.
Unfortunately, the truck parked before mummy could get there so I had to make my way to as close as she could get. I told my mum what they said and she got very angry (which doesn't happen very often) she stopped in the road, grabbed my disabled badge and showed it to a guy, explained what happened and he shrugged... HE SHRUGGED!!! The guy who did it was standing behind him and I could tell he was listening but it didn't looked like he cared... AT ALL.
My mum made a note of their moving companies name and we went round to my grandparents house (they love to complain - they especially love the word 'compensation') mummy told them what had happened and they weren't at all pleased so they rang up but all they could do was leave a message with (what they think was) the receptionist, she said that they are two of the head guys in their company and that she was surprised by this; she said they'd get told off.
A LOT OF GOOD THAT IS!!!
How can people be so thoughtless and inconsiderate?!
